Viagra works by increasing blood flow to the penis. It is not a hormone or an aphrodisiac. Once you take it, Viagra can work in as quickly as 30 minutes but for most individuals 1 hour is more likely. Viagra works for at least 4 hours so you can set your own pace. Viagra can be taken as often as once a day.
Use
Take Viagra approximately 1 hour before sexual activity on an empty stomach; Viagra loses effectiveness when taken with food. Depending on the individual and whether or not it is taken with food, the time required for Viagra to have an effect will be different.
Advice
Viagra is quite strong and when first taking it you should only try a quarter tablet at first - 25mg ( this is equal to the minimum strength sold ). If you are under 39 years old then you may not need anymore than this amount to achieve your goals. Most people take 50mg or less so there is no need to take the whole tablet when you can get the same effect with half the amount. As with Proscar, a pill splitter can be damn handy.
Warnings
Do not take Viagra if you are taking any nitrate-based drug, including nitroglycerin or if you are on any blood pressure or heart medication, as combining Viagra with these drugs can cause a severe drop in blood pressure. If you have any liver or kidney problems then it is not recommended that you take Viagra.
