Keep your hair on! - 3 step plan to saving your hair
To attack MPB on all fronts you need to something for DHT, a hair growth simulator, and a SOD - something to keep a healthy scalp.

1. Finasteride 1-1.25mg ( Propecia or 1/4 tab Proscar ) or Dutasteride 0.05-2.5mg (Avodart/Dutas)
When: Daily
How: Take with a glass of grapefruit juice preferably on an empty stomach.
Action: DHT inhibitor

2. Ketoconazole 2% Shampoo ( Nizoral )
When: Every other day
How: Wash your hair daily in cool water. Shampoo with Nizoral 2% leaving it on your scalp for at least 5 minutes before rinsing. On off-days use any dandruff shampoo containing Zinc Pyrithione 1% and shampoo as normal.
Action: anti-inflammatory, anti-androgen, growth stimulant

3. Folligen Spray ( optional )
When: Daily before bed
How: Spray on scalp and gently rub in.
Action: SOD, anti-inflammatory, growth stimulant

Tips...
1. Take clear photos of just washed and dried hair in good light without using a flash. You should do this before beginning your hair programme and again at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 month marks. Haircycles last 3 months so any changes to your programme will not be apparent for at least 3 months.

2. Don't stress! Stressing about your hair may make you lose more. Learn to relax!
